About the Role
The Delivery Manager position at Photon Interactive UK is a pivotal role that entails overseeing the end-to-end delivery of IT projects across multiple teams and geographies. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with experience in managing stakeholder expectations, navigating Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and leading high-performing teams.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve collaborating with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define project scope, timelines, and success metrics. The Delivery Manager will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating delivery risks and dependencies, as well as tracking progress through regular reporting and communication with leadership.
What You Will Do
- Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects across multiple teams and geographies
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define project scope, timelines, and success metrics
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, budgets, and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies
- Lead and mentor project teams to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
- Track progress through regular reporting and communication with leadership
- Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation plans, and risk management plans
- Conduct regular project status updates and escalate issues to stakeholders as necessary
- Ensure that all project deliverables are of high quality and meet the required standards
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in IT project or delivery management
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, etc.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery models
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience managing enterprise-level or client-facing delivery projects
Nice to Have
- PMP / Prince2 / Scrum Master certification
- Experience managing projects with a high degree of complexity and uncertainty
