Deployed Engineer (Salt Lake City)

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to co-architect and co-build production AI agents
• Own the technical win in pre-sales, working with customers to design and propose solutions that meet their needs
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications, providing guidance and support as needed
• Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap-level decisions
• Work with LangChain's product team to provide feedback and insights on customer needs and market trends
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve LangChain's products and services
• Participate in sales and marketing efforts, providing technical expertise and support as needed
• Collaborate with other teams, such as sales and marketing, to align on goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles on AI agent development and deployment

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant technical role, such as software engineering, customer engineering, or solutions engineering
• Strong Python, JavaScript, and systems fundamentals, with experience designing and deploying complex applications
• Experience with AI-powered applications, including agent-based systems and large language models
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of security and data protection principles, with experience implementing secure solutions
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Knowledge of natural language processing and text analysis techniques
• Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data lakes, such as AWS Lake Formation
