About the Role
The Deployment Engineer role at ng-voice is a critical component of the company's mission to deliver innovative mobile infrastructure solutions. As a key member of the Client Deployment Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of ng-voice's solutions, working closely with pre-sales engineering and product development teams to align on client needs and product requirements. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Day-to-day, you will be working on high- and low-level design, technical deployment, and integration of solutions, as well as planning, preparing, and setting up lab, test, and production environments for client and partnership deployments. Your expertise in Linux machines, complex networking infrastructures, and telecommunications systems will be essential in this role.
The Client Deployment Team is a dynamic and collaborative environment, and as a Deployment Engineer, you will be expected to contribute to the team's success by sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions.
What You Will Do
- Guarantee smooth delivery of solutions, including high- and low-level design, technical deployment, and integration
- Plan, prepare, and set up lab, test, and production environments for client and partnership deployments
- Install and configure cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes
- Automate technical deployment processes to increase efficiency
- Maintain, monitor, administer, and update current deployments to ensure stability
- Provide 2nd-level support, error analysis, and classification for incident management
- Coordinate customer requests and disseminate client information
- Unlock operational efficiency in deployment and support procedures
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineering and product development teams to align on client needs and product requirements
- Work closely with the team to identify and implement process improvements
What We Are Looking For
- Experience with Linux machines (setup, administration, operation)
- Experience with complex networking infrastructures, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing techniques
- Knowledge of telecommunications systems (4G, 5G, IMS)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
- Debugging and tracing skills (Wireshark)
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable and able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Nice to Have
- Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing
- Knowledge of signaling standards and protocols such as SIP and Diameter
- Experience working with public clouds (AWS, GCP)
- IMS experience
