About the Role

The role of a DESARROLLADOR DE CONTENIDO at Universidad de la República Mexicana is a critical one, as it involves designing, developing, and evaluating high-quality academic content for various programs. This is a unique opportunity to join a team dedicated to creating innovative learning experiences for students in psychology, marketing, and architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with academic coordinators, teachers, and instructional design specialists to ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality and relevance.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and developing educational materials, such as guides, manuals, activities, and assessment tools, as well as integrating multimedia resources and digital tools into these materials. The ability to work collaboratively and maintain open lines of communication with colleagues will be essential, as will a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop educational materials for courses, diplomas, and academic programs.
  • Develop learning guides, manuals, activities, and case studies that align with learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Create assessment instruments and performance rubrics to evaluate student learning.
  • Update content to reflect curriculum changes, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate multimedia and digital tools into educational materials to enhance student engagement and learning.
  • Collaborate with academic coordinators, teachers, and instructional design specialists to ensure content quality and relevance.
  • Review and ensure the pedagogical, orthographic, and methodological quality of content.
  • Participate in accreditation processes and continuous improvement of educational programs.
  • Generate reports and documentation related to developed content.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, marketing, architecture, or a related field.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • For psychology: desirable master's degree in clinical psychology or specialty, with professional practice in general psychology, courses, and diplomas in clinical psychology.
  • For marketing: desirable master's degree in digital marketing, with experience in teaching and practicing digital marketing, artificial intelligence, and social media management.
  • For architecture: professional experience in interior design, with teaching experience and proficiency in design software, including Adobe and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with learning management systems, such as Moodle.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, such as Canva, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of digital education resources and technologies.
  • Certification in instructional design or a related field.
