What You Will Do
- Deeply understand Linear's product, especially its AI agent and newer capabilities, to continuously discover productive, real-world use cases.
- Create content that demonstrates these use cases, whether through short-form social media, blog posts, video walkthroughs, or live demos.
- Build relationships with engineering and product-focused creators to collaborate on content that feels authentic.
- Work with the video team to produce technical product content that comes across with genuine depth.
- Partner with support, sales, and product teams on developer-facing documentation and educational content.
- Stay updated on industry conversations and ensure Linear has a voice in relevant discussions.
- Develop and execute a content strategy that showcases Linear's unique value proposition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content efforts with broader marketing goals.
- Analyze feedback and metrics to refine content approach and improve engagement.
What We Are Looking For
- Technical expertise: You should understand code and how software gets built, with the ability to talk about it credibly.
- Deep product intuition: The ability to pick up a tool and explore its possibilities, thinking in workflows and use cases rather than just features.
- Comfort on camera and on stage: You should be able to demo a product, record a walkthrough, or speak at a conference without it feeling forced.
- Twitter/X savvy: Knowing how to use the platform effectively and participate in relevant conversations with credibility.
- Curiosity and self-direction: Already finding the next interesting thing to talk about and following the right people.
- Ability to create video content end-to-end: Scripting, recording, and editing without needing to hand it off.
- Experience in marketing or a related field, preferably in a technical or product-focused role.
