Developer Productivity Analyst, DX

You will work closely with the team to develop and evolve frameworks, models, and measurement approaches that become the benchmark for the industry.

What You Will Do

• Lead original research that combines quantitative data, qualitative insights, and real-world stories from hundreds of engineering organizations
• Develop and evolve frameworks, models, and measurement approaches that become the industry standard
• Collaborate with the DX Research team to advance the understanding of developer productivity
• Work with engineering leaders to understand their challenges and provide actionable insights
• Publish research and findings in industry-leading publications and conferences
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders and researchers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve research and insights
• Provide training and support to junior team members, helping to develop their skills and expertise

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software development, research, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets
• Experience with programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts, with the ability to apply them to real-world problems
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to publish research and findings in industry-leading publications
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and design
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or Docker
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
