Job Description

About the Role

Workos is building the developer platform for enterprise readiness, and Developer Relations is a core part of how we earn trust with developers and show up in the community. We’re looking for an events-forward DevRel leader who thrives in the room, organizing meetups, building community, representing WorkOS publicly, and creating technical content that drives real engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale WorkOS’s developer events strategy (meetups, panels, workshops, office events)
  • Represent WorkOS as a public-facing technical voice (talks, demos, community conversations)
  • Create high-signal technical content that supports events and developer education (guides, talks, demos)
  • Build relationships with developer communities and influencers across the ecosystem
  • Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering to bring community feedback into our roadmap and messaging

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Developer Relations, developer advocacy, community, or a highly technical marketing role
  • Strong technical foundation and credibility with developers (you can demo, build, and explain)
  • Bias toward doing: you can run events end-to-end and create content that ships
  • Excellent communicator and facilitator. Comfortable on stage and in small group conversations

How to Stand Out

  • To stand out, highlight your experience in creating engaging technical content and building developer communities.
  • Showcase your ability to represent a company publicly and drive growth through events and community engagement.
  • Familiarize yourself with GTM and Excel skills, as they are essential for this role.
  • Prepare to demonstrate your technical foundation and credibility with developers during the interview process.
  • Be ready to discuss your experience in partnering with cross-functional teams and bringing community feedback into the company’s roadmap and messaging.
