About the Role
The role of a Developer who loves teaching at Posthog is a unique blend of technical content creation and AI engineering. As a Context Engineer on the Docs & Wizard team, you'll be responsible for making complex technologies accessible to both humans and AI agents. Your work will have a direct impact on the development of Posthog's products, including PostHog Code, the data warehouse, and PostHog AI.Day-to-day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain knowledge bases, engineer AI-powered tools, and develop technical content that explains Posthog's products to users. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner will be essential in this role.
What You Will Do
- Design and maintain knowledge bases that power Posthog's AI tools
- Engineer and orchestrate content that explains Posthog's products to users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and features
- Develop technical content that showcases Posthog's products and their applications
- Work closely with the Docs & Wizard team to ensure seamless integration of content and AI tools
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of Posthog's codebase
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning
- Develop and maintain internal documentation and training materials
- Collaborate with the support team to resolve complex technical issues
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI and machine learning
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis
- Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with knowledge base design and development
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex technical issues
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating on large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning principles
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and distributed systems

- Experience with natural language processing and computer vision
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization
