## About the Role Accelerate Change is seeking a skilled Development Operations Support Contractor to join their team. As a Development Operations Support Contractor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of their Salesforce CRM, ensuring seamless data entry and management. You will work closely with the Development Department Managers to support the efficient and compliant processing of incoming funds and donor records.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce, specifically with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), and a proven track record of data entry and database management. You will be responsible for creating, updating, and merging donor records, updating General Accounting Units (GAUs), and ensuring donor profiles are current and complete.
As a Development Operations Support Contractor, you will be part of a team of digital media innovators and operators who bring a mix of tech, business, civic engagement, and media backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work with a mission-driven organization focused on civic engagement with BIPOC and low-income communities.
## What You Will Do - Maintain the comprehensive accuracy of the Salesforce CRM, including creating, updating, and merging donor records - Update General Accounting Units (GAUs) and ensure donor profiles are current and complete - Execute the accurate and timely end-to-end processing of incoming funds, including donations received via multiple giving websites, checks, wires, Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), and pledge payments - Monitor and manage data quality by identifying missing fields and flagging inconsistencies with the team - Provide essential operational support, including assisting with sending donor acknowledgment letters as needed - Collaborate with the Development Department Managers to support the development team - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations - Troubleshoot issues with Salesforce and data entry - Develop and implement processes to improve data management and entry
## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform, specifically with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) - Demonstrated experience in Salesforce data entry and database management, preferably gained while working with or for a nonprofit development, fundraising, or grants team - Strong understanding of data management and entry principles - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently in a remote setting - Commitment to social change and civic engagement with BIPOC and low-income communities - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to troubleshoot issues with Salesforce and data entry
## Nice to Have - Experience with other CRM systems or database management tools - Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising principles and practices - Experience working with a remote team or in a freelance capacity - Certification in Salesforce administration or development
