About the Role
The Devop Developer Master position at Kyndryl is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions. This position is crucial in Kyndryl's software engineering space, where the successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, delivery, and evolution of highly scalable distributed software. The role requires a deep understanding of digital skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.The day-to-day responsibilities of this position involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and features. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, a keen eye for detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
As part of Kyndryl's team, the Devop Developer Master will be expected to maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of 3rd party components within the product. This will involve continuous grooming of features/user stories, estimating technical risks/dependencies, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more
- Provide critical skills required for the development of cutting-edge products
- Contribute knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills
- Communicate complex technical and business concepts to both customers and team members
- Identify and frame problems, lead the collection of elements of information, and integrate this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions
- Improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery of services through the use of technology and technical methods and methodologies
- Drive the design, development, integration, delivery, and evolution of highly scalable distributed software
- Integrate with other layers and offerings to provide deeper functionality and solutions to address customer needs
- Work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products and features through the agile software development lifecycle
- Coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture
What We Are Looking For
- 2 to 3 years of experience resolving medium-complexity incidents in DevSecOps tools
- Proven expertise in software development, especially in distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Security, Systems, Databases, and Networking Solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
