Job Description
About the Role
The DevOps Architect will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and security of Creative Chaos's infrastructure, working closely with development teams to design, implement, and test new infrastructures. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading urgent issues and projects, communicating statuses, and assigning resources as required. With a focus on process methodology and stakeholder communication, you will work collaboratively to create and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure and develop environments for quality assurance and development.The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of system configuration, processes, and tools, as well as experience with automation and deployment of Linux applications. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where flexibility and versatility are essential, and will be expected to provide direct server support and collaborate with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements.
What You Will Do
- Lead the design, implementation, and testing of new infrastructures
- Collaborate with development teams to automate and optimize processes
- Develop and implement environments for quality assurance and development
- Deploy and support applications on cloud environments
- Ensure infrastructure security and reliability
- Provide direct server support during deployment and production
- Communicate with stakeholders and assign resources as required
- Evaluate candidates for open positions
- Work with tools such as Jenkins, Azure, and Ansible
What We Are Looking For
- BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a similar relevant field
- Minimum 8 years of related experience in the professional industry
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Knowledge of both RDBMS and NoSQL data platforms, including MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch
- Strong experience with Linux distributions, such as Rhel 8, CentOS, or Ubuntu
- Advanced-level scripting experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience working with development teams to automate and optimize processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker or similar containerization tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks
