About the Role
The DevOps AWS position at PradeepIT Consulting Services Pvt Ltd is a critical role that requires a seasoned professional to manage and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This expert will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the cloud resources, leveraging a wide range of AWS services to meet the company's application needs. As a key member of the team, the ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations staff, to deliver successful projects.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve architecting, deploying, and managing cloud resources on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and VPC. The successful candidate will also lead the establishment and maintenance of robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
What You Will Do
- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud resources on Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Utilize a wide range of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and VPC, to meet application needs
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to manage and version control infrastructure configuration
- Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions for applications and infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Optimize the performance and resource utilization of systems through effective load balancing, caching, and scaling strategies
- Establish and enforce security best practices to safeguard applications and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect critical data and ensure business continuity in case of failures
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues and incidents, developing incident response plans and driving root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps and AWS cloud infrastructure management
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Solid background in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling
- Thorough understanding of networking, security, and data storage concepts in AWS environments
- Proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders

- AWS certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
