About the Role
The DevOps Engineer position at DaCodes is a key role that involves leading DevOps initiatives for large legacy systems, with a focus on modernization to serverless architectures, security standardization, and monitoring standardization across environments. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and evolution of the company's cloud infrastructures. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team that collaborates closely with engineering and operations teams to drive cross-team alignment and successful project outcomes.The day-to-day responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during modernization and migration efforts, as well as architecting, designing, and optimizing deployment pipelines and automation systems. You will also support the definition of standards, processes, and best practices for DevOps and cloud modernization. Given the nature of the role, the ability to work with minimal supervision, lead initiatives, and provide technical guidance to team members is essential.

What You Will Do
- Lead DevOps initiatives for large legacy systems, focusing on discovery, assessment, and documentation.
- Drive the three main pillars of the modernization program: platform modernization to serverless architectures, security standardization and vulnerability management, and monitoring standardization across environments.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure cross-team alignment and smooth transitions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently during modernization and migration efforts.
- Architect, design, and optimize deployment pipelines and automation systems.
- Support the definition of standards, processes, and best practices for DevOps and cloud modernization.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructures.
- Work with disruptive startups and global brands, contributing to the success of the business and its clients.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor team members as needed.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of projects.
What We Are Looking For
- 4-8 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong experience deploying, configuring, and managing cloud environments on AWS and GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including container orchestration and production cluster management.
- Docker experience, including image creation, optimization, and CI/CD integration.
- Terraform skills for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Ability to read, understand, and work with build scripts in Python.
- Solid understanding of database operations from an infrastructure perspective, including MySQL.
- Experience with monitoring tools, logging pipelines, and vulnerability management workflows.
- Advanced/Fluent English skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead initiatives.

- Experience with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud operations.
