About the Role

As a Devops Engineer at Brightedge, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high performance and availability of the company's S3 platform. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and troubleshooting will be instrumental in maintaining and scaling the platform. What You Will Do

  • Ensure the uptime, data availability, and performance of the Brightedge S3 platform 24/7/365
  • Debug critical problems in the production environment with minimal turnaround time
  • Automate the operations of thousands of machines collecting, crunching, and querying data
  • Build and enhance in-house monitoring and maintenance software
  • Provide tools to monitor performance, deploy code, and provision machines
  • Implement auto-scaling of the global cloud network to cover 100+ countries
  • Support Fortune 500 companies that leverage the platform for SEO success
  • Manage a hybrid environment of both cloud (AWS, GCP) and data centers
  • Create innovative solutions to tackle new challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform improvements
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support

What We Are Looking For

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Devops
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with MySQL, No-SQL, and database management
  • Scripting language experience in Python, shell, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Google Cloud Platform or other cloud technology experience
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and scalability
  • Experience with automation tools and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker and containerization
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
