You will report to a senior engineering lead and work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security. ## What You Will Do - Monitor infrastructure performance using Grafana Dashboards and Prometheus Metrics, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues.
- Implement automated management features such as performance monitoring, diagnostics, and failover to minimize downtime and enhance system resilience.
- Configure implemented solutions in accordance with system security processes, adhering to the highest standards of data protection and privacy.
- Manage CI (continuous integration) systems and pipelines, streamlining our development and deployment processes.
- Design and implement infrastructure, leveraging your knowledge of cloud environments and container orchestration platforms.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates into our production environment.
- Work closely with the security team to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in our systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for our systems and processes, ensuring that knowledge is shared across the team.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing support and ensuring the continuity of our services.
- Engage in continuous learning, staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in DevOps and observability.
- Knowledge of metrics monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Experience working with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure As Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Understanding of version control systems, including GitHub and Azure Repos.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
- Basic understanding of databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
- Ability to work in an agile environment, adopting to changing requirements and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and processes.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
