## About the Role As a DevOps Engineer at Louco Event Media GmbH, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's infrastructure, deployments, security, and scalability. You will work closely with the development team to ensure the smooth operation of cloud infrastructure, deployments, and security. The role is initially part-time, with approximately 20-40 hours per month, but has the potential to grow over time. ## What You Will Do - Manage and optimize the company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability - Maintain development, staging, and production environments, ensuring seamless deployments and minimal downtime - Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and deployment processes - Support deployments and release processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions - Monitor uptime, performance, and security, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become incidents - Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring business continuity in the event of an outage - Configure domains, SSL certificates, and networking, ensuring secure and reliable communication - Support developers with infrastructure-related topics, providing expert guidance and advice - Improve scalability, reliability, and system performance, driving continuous improvement and optimization
## What We Are Looking For - Strong Linux administration skills, with experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure - Experience with Hetzner Cloud or similar cloud environments, with knowledge of cloud-based deployment and management - Docker and container management, with experience in building and deploying containerized applications - CI/CD pipelines, with experience in automating testing and deployment processes - GitHub Actions, with experience in using GitHub for version control and automation - PostgreSQL, with experience in managing and optimizing databases - Monitoring and logging tools, with experience in using tools like Prometheus and Grafana - Security best practices, with knowledge of security principles and protocols - DNS, SSL, and networking knowledge, with experience in managing and configuring network infrastructure
## Nice to Have - Supabase experience, with knowledge of using Supabase for database management and optimization - Nginx or Traefik experience, with knowledge of using these tools for load balancing and reverse proxying - Terraform experience, with knowledge of using Terraform for infrastructure as code and automation - Kubernetes experience, with knowledge of using Kubernetes for container orchestration and management - Mobile app infrastructure experience, with knowledge of building and deploying mobile applications
