About the Role
SCOUT Solutions is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their remote team. This role requires a deep understanding of automation and infrastructure management.Responsibilities
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
- Automate manual procedures and manage infrastructure costs effectively.
- Ensure system performance through robust monitoring and alert systems.
- Refine processes to improve team efficiency and results.
- Engage with clients to maintain transparency and manage expectations.
- Participate in on-call rotations for urgent requests.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tools like CI/CD, Terraform, and AzureDevOps.
- Proficient in system monitoring and alert mechanisms.
- Ability to visualize and document DevOps processes and mentor team members.
- Familiar with database migration tools such as dbmgr.net or similar.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a mindset focused on automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
