About the Role

SCOUT Solutions is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their remote team. This role requires a deep understanding of automation and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
  • Automate manual procedures and manage infrastructure costs effectively.
  • Ensure system performance through robust monitoring and alert systems.
  • Refine processes to improve team efficiency and results.
  • Engage with clients to maintain transparency and manage expectations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for urgent requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tools like CI/CD, Terraform, and AzureDevOps.
  • Proficient in system monitoring and alert mechanisms.
  • Ability to visualize and document DevOps processes and mentor team members.
  • Familiar with database migration tools such as dbmgr.net or similar.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a mindset focused on automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
