Job Description

About the Role

SOFTSWISS is seeking a Middle DevOps/Systems Engineer to collaborate with product development teams and stakeholders to prepare, maintain, and support infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product development teams and various stakeholders
  • Prepare new infrastructure and maintain current infrastructure
  • Implement and deliver new features
  • Automate infrastructure components
  • Investigate and resolve problems and incidents
  • Develop and optimize CI pipelines for various projects
  • Manage infrastructure migrations between data centers
  • Provide consultation to developers, managers, and clients
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Respond proactively to monitoring alerts and events

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering or a similar role
  • Good understanding of Linux-like operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools and shell scripting
  • Experience with containerization, virtualization, and orchestration
  • Solid understanding of the CI/CD process and tools
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools
  • Development skills in any widely used scripting language
  • Experience in database administration
