About the Role
As a Digital Marketing Manager at Docker, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's paid media campaigns across various channels, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, and programmatic. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing and executing paid media strategies that drive pipeline growth and efficiency. You will be working closely with the Growth Marketing team, Integrated Campaigns, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Web, and Developer Relations to ensure that Docker's paid media engine is running smoothly and effectively.The Digital Marketing Manager role is crucial to Docker's success, as it directly impacts the company's ability to generate pipeline and drive revenue. As a key member of the Growth Marketing team, you will be responsible for owning the paid media strategy and execution, audience and ABM targeting, measurement and attribution model, and budget allocation.
Docker is a globally distributed, remote-first team, and as such, you will be working with a talented group of professionals from all over the world. You will be reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing within Growth Marketing and will be expected to partner daily with various teams to achieve your goals.
What You Will Do
- Own Docker's paid media strategy and execution across paid search, paid social, display, and programmatic, with LinkedIn and Google as primary channels
- Develop and execute audience and ABM targeting strategies, including first-party and install-base audiences, matched target-account lists, function, seniority, and title targeting, suppression, and retargeting
- Manage the measurement and attribution model, including platform conversion tracking, offline conversion import, and closed-loop reporting through Salesforce
- Own paid search directly, including ad-group and keyword architecture, negative-keyword discipline, bid strategy, and spend efficiency
- Allocate budget and optimize return on ad spend across channels, with continuous testing and reallocation toward the best-performing programs
- Collaborate with Web and Marketing Operations to ensure high-quality landing pages and conversion paths
- Work closely with the paid media agency to set direction and ensure high-quality work
- Report on pipeline quality and efficiency, rather than lead volume or cost per lead alone
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid media
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA4, GTM, HubSpot, and Salesforce
- Experience with programmatic advertising and audience targeting
- Ability to develop and execute paid media strategies that drive pipeline growth and efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure and optimize campaign performance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies in paid media
