About the Role
The Digital Marketing Manager at Nabu Casa is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing the company's digital presence and driving growth through various channels. This includes managing the website, email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, and social media. As a key member of the marketing team, the successful candidate will work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute digital campaigns that align with product launches and commercial priorities.Day-to-day, the role involves planning, shipping, and analyzing the performance of digital campaigns, with a strong focus on organic growth and reducing reliance on paid traffic. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, driving the agenda, and making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

What You Will Do
- Own the performance of Nabu Casa's digital channels, including website, email, SEO, paid, and social media
- Plan and execute digital campaigns from brief to post-campaign analysis, aligning with product launches and commercial priorities
- Build and improve organic search presence through content strategy and on-site SEO
- Manage email marketing for Nabu Casa Cloud subscribers, including lifecycle flows, release announcements, and re-engagement efforts
- Track and report on key metrics, including reach, conversion, and subscriber growth
- Run paid digital spend and ROI across channels, allocating and optimizing the budget
- Report on digital performance weekly, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Grow and engage Nabu Casa's presence in relevant communities, such as Home Assistant forums, Reddit, and YouTube
- Test new growth levers, including affiliate, referral, and influencer marketing, with structured experiments and documented learnings
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on experience running digital channels, including SEO, email, paid social/search, and content marketing
- Fluency in analytics, including building dashboards, interpreting funnel data, and distinguishing signal from noise
- Strong copywriting skills for digital contexts, with the ability to write for a technically literate audience
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tooling, such as HubSpot or equivalent
- High autonomy, with the ability to drive the agenda and make decisions without close supervision
- Experience working in a small, remote-first team, with a focus on owning a function end-to-end
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including campaign planning, execution, and analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and driving growth

- Experience marketing a technical, developer-adjacent, or open-source product
- Familiarity with the Home Assistant ecosystem or smart home space
