About the Role
As a digital marketing strategist at Directive, you'll be responsible for driving client results through paid media, SEO, and CRO campaigns. You'll work closely with a portfolio of SMB clients, developing and executing customized marketing strategies that meet their unique needs. Your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing campaign data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize results.The role is part of Directive's Performance division, which focuses on delivering measurable results for clients. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced marketers who share your passion for performance-driven marketing. Your ability to think boldly, challenge the status quo, and build campaigns that drive real results will be essential in this role.
Directive's methodology, DiscoverabilityOS, aligns brand and demand to guide the ideal customer profile (ICP) to choose the client's brand across every decision point. As a digital marketing strategist, you'll be responsible for understanding and applying this methodology to drive client success.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute customized digital marketing strategies for a portfolio of SMB clients
- Analyze campaign data to identify areas for improvement and optimize results
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions
- Manage and organize client relationships, ensuring timely communication and effective project management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and internal team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including the latest developments in paid media, SEO, and CRO
- Develop and present client reports, highlighting campaign successes and areas for improvement
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services to existing clients
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop pitches
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid media, SEO, and CRO
- Proven track record of driving client results through data-driven marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of the SaaS marketplace and experience working with tech companies
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal team members
- Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze campaign data and identify areas for improvement
- Experience with marketing automation tools, such as Marketo or HubSpot
- Familiarity with AI and automation technologies, and their application in marketing

- Experience with content marketing, including blog writing and social media management
