About the Role

Twilio is seeking a skilled Digital Sales Representative 2 to join its team in driving business growth through innovative cloud communications solutions. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for net new customer acquisition, solution selling, and closing deals within self-service accounts. Your day-to-day activities will involve working closely with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, designing tailored solutions to meet their needs, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Be responsible for net new customer acquisition and driving new revenue for a specific territory while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Work with customers across all verticals to understand their business and technical requirements
  • Design tailored solutions to meet customer needs, utilizing Twilio's communications API platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, including Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support
  • Address customer requirements, advise on digital communication strategies, and help customers get started on the Twilio platform
  • Balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals at the same time
  • Think outside the box, building out new processes and helping the team to build a playbook along the way
  • Passionately communicate complex technical and financial details in a simple and clear manner
  • Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help make the sales process efficient

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 1 year of sales development/business development experience at a technology company or 1+ years of closing experience in another industry
  • Understanding of the cloud computing/communications business model and excitement for selling to a technical audience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience working with customers across all verticals and understanding their business and technical requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to think outside the box and design tailored solutions to meet customer needs

  • Experience working with cloud communications platforms and API solutions
