About the Role

Twilio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Sales Representative to join its team. As a key player in the company's growth, the successful candidate will be responsible for net new customer acquisition, solution selling, and closing deals within the Self Service accounts. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital sales, has a strong understanding of cloud communications, and is excited about the opportunity to work with a wide range of businesses.

The Digital Sales Representative will work closely with cross-functional internal teams, including Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support, to address customer requirements and advise on digital communication strategies. This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, and the opportunity to be part of a vibrant team with diverse experiences making a global impact each day.

What You Will Do

  • Be responsible for net new customer acquisition and driving new revenue for a specific territory while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Work with customers across all verticals to understand their business and technical requirements
  • Design solutions for customers' specific use case needs using Twilio's communications API platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to address customer requirements and advise on digital communication strategies
  • Help customers get started on the Twilio platform
  • Balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals at the same time
  • Think outside the box and build out new processes to help the team build a playbook
  • Utilize a solution-oriented approach to selling and have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Empower others by working diligently with internal teams to address customer requirements
  • Passionately represent Twilio and its products to customers and internal stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 1 year of sales development/business development experience at a technology company or 1+ years of closing experience in another industry
  • Understanding of the cloud computing/communications business model and excitement for selling to a technical audience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex technical and financial details sound simple
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with sales automation tools and CRM software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
  • Passion for digital sales and a drive to succeed

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote-first company
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in sales and marketing
