About the Role
The Digital/IT Solutions Architect role at RTX is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to join a team of experts in designing and integrating cyber-compliant system solutions. As part of the Solutions Architecture team, the successful candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and integrating innovative system solutions to enhance execution efficiency and capabilities. The team works closely with senior engineers and support teams to determine system requirements and resolve complex system problems.The role is part of the Classified Transformation Program Architecture, Front End of the Business (FEOTB), and the candidate will be working on classified and unclassified program work environments. This position requires a deep understanding of system design, integration, and administration, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What You Will Do
- Architect resilient, redundant, and highly-available infrastructure solutions for classified environments
- Produce architectural diagrams and system design documents aligning with internal configuration standards for classified systems
- Advise support teams on system administration, engineering, and integration issues
- Participate in and lead technical meetings with team members, engineers, program personnel, and leadership
- Support proposal teams and technical review teams with the creation of technical solutions
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships and foster an open culture of collaboration across teams
- Exercise strong knowledge of virtualization, Windows and Linux enterprise environments, storage solutions, identity and access management, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex system problems
- Work with senior engineers and support teams to determine system requirements and specifications
What We Are Looking For
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Secret security clearance type
- Experience in designing and integrating cyber-compliant system solutions
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, Windows and Linux enterprise environments, storage solutions, and identity and access management
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, including RMF, NIST, ICD, and DoD
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Experience with Adjust and Excel
- Knowledge of data retention and archival solutions
- Experience with proposal teams and technical review teams
