About the Role
The Director of Business Development at FMG is a strategic leadership role that entails leading the company's expansion into the Mid-Market and Enterprise sectors. This involves navigating complex sales cycles, pioneering the use of AI-driven methodologies to increase efficiency and personalization, and operating in a remote-first environment. As a key member of the team, the Director will be responsible for penetrating high-value enterprise targets, such as Wealth Management firms, Banks, Wirehouses, and Independent Broker Dealers.The role requires a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, as well as the ability to coach a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to master the art of enterprise prospecting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and leadership, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do
- Lead the expansion of FMG into the Mid-Market and Enterprise sectors
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate high-value enterprise targets
- Coach a team of BDRs to master the art of enterprise prospecting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business development strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including the latest technologies and innovations
- Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to drive revenue growth
- Provide feedback and guidance to BDRs to improve sales performance and effectiveness
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Proven track record of driving growth and revenue in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including HubSpot and Excel
- Experience coaching or managing a team of sales professionals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and develop strategic plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Experience working in a remote-first environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively
