About the Role

The Director of Business Development at FMG is a strategic leadership role that entails leading the company's expansion into the Mid-Market and Enterprise sectors. This involves navigating complex sales cycles, pioneering the use of AI-driven methodologies to increase efficiency and personalization, and operating in a remote-first environment. As a key member of the team, the Director will be responsible for penetrating high-value enterprise targets, such as Wealth Management firms, Banks, Wirehouses, and Independent Broker Dealers.

The role requires a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, as well as the ability to coach a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to master the art of enterprise prospecting. What You Will Do

  • Lead the expansion of FMG into the Mid-Market and Enterprise sectors
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate high-value enterprise targets
  • Coach a team of BDRs to master the art of enterprise prospecting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business development strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including the latest technologies and innovations
  • Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to drive revenue growth
  • Provide feedback and guidance to BDRs to improve sales performance and effectiveness

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving growth and revenue in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including HubSpot and Excel
  • Experience coaching or managing a team of sales professionals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and develop strategic plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
