About the Role

The Director, Consult Partner position at Kyndryl is a senior leadership role that requires guiding multi-disciplinary teams through complex consulting engagements. This involves creating and positioning strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts, spanning the intersection between complex business and IT customer solutions. The role demands a strong presence, industry expertise, and the ability to cultivate relationships with CXO-level clients.

The successful candidate will be part of Kyndryl Consult, the fastest-growing business within the organization, instrumental in the company's strategic growth objectives. This role is pivotal in driving profitable growth, leveraging comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships, and leading the team to success.

What You Will Do

  • Play a key leadership role across multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through complex consulting engagements.
  • Create and position strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts.
  • Drive profitable growth, leveraging our comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships.
  • Lead the team to success, focusing on financial impact, utilization, and contribution, client impact, and leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to state, local government, and K-12/higher education clients, helping them navigate complex technology and operational challenges.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with public sector decision-makers, including elected officials, department heads, and procurement officers.
  • Lead C-level client interactions and consulting initiatives, delivering high-quality client work alongside senior client stakeholders.
  • Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on engagements, ensuring profitability and understanding and containing risk.
  • Contribute to the identification, pursuit, and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities.
  • Support the design of complex engagements and take responsibility for oversight of delivery, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
