About the Role
The Director, Enterprise Operations will lead a multi-functional team, overseeing the performance, cost, and reliability of IT operations globally. This role is critical to the success of DoorDash, as it ensures that employees have the technology and support they need to be productive. The Director will report into the Head of Global IT and will be responsible for driving the organizational integration of three brands, aligning processes, vendors, and tooling.The Enterprise Operations team is the operational backbone of Global IT at DoorDash, responsible for keeping employees productive and technology running reliably across the company. This team owns everything from service desk delivery and hardware lifecycle management to device supply chain, financial planning, and enterprise process improvement.
As a leader in this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's global IT operations, driving post-acquisition IT integration, cross-regional process standardization, and automation to scale IT across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
What You Will Do
- Lead multi-functional teams across service desk, ITAM, supply chain, business operations, and integration, and corporate AV spanning three global brands
- Drive post-acquisition IT integration, cross-regional process standardization, and automation to scale IT across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo
- Set and deliver on SLAs, KPIs, and budget targets, and report performance insights to senior leadership
- Partner cross-functionally with Workplace, Security, Finance, and Engineering to improve the employee technology experience
- Own the performance, cost, and reliability of IT operations globally
- Develop and implement a global operating model for IT operations
- Manage budget and financial planning, including headcount modeling, vendor management, and IT cost optimization
- Lead IT operations through acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale transformation programs
- Communicate complex operational issues to senior leaders and translate them into decisions and measurable outcomes
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations
- 5+ years of experience leading multi-functional teams across service desk, asset management, or supply chain in a global or multi-regional environment
- Proven track record of building and scaling IT organizations, with measurable results in SLA performance, cost efficiency, or employee satisfaction
- Budget and financial planning experience, including headcount modeling, vendor management, and IT cost optimization
- Experience leading IT operations through acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale transformation programs
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate operational complexity into decisions and measurable outcomes
- Experience with Excel and other IT operations tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
- Knowledge of cloud-based IT operations and management
- Experience with automation and scripting tools
- Certification in IT operations or a related field
