About the Role
The Director of Global Sales Enablement at Dropbox is a pivotal role that drives revenue growth by designing and delivering targeted enablement programs. The role is crucial in translating sales priorities into consistent behaviors across segments and regions, providing leaders with visibility into what's working and what's not.The Director leads a cross-functional enablement team and partners closely with Sales, RevOps, Product, and Marketing to ensure programs are tightly aligned to revenue targets and deliver provable impact. The role reports directly to the VP of Sales Strategy & GTM Operations, indicating the strategic importance of sales enablement in driving business growth. Enablement is the bridge between strategy and seller execution, making this role central to Dropbox's sales strategy.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver global enablement programs that drive measurable revenue impact, considering regional and cultural nuances.
- Use data and field insights to identify performance gaps, optimize sales motions, and deliver training, content, and programs that help sellers execute against business priorities.
- Lead a cross-functional enablement team and collaborate with Sales, RevOps, Product, and Marketing to align programs with revenue targets.
- Develop and manage budgets for enablement programs, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Analyze sales performance data to understand the effectiveness of enablement programs and make data-driven decisions.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact sales performance and enablement programs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales enablement, applying this knowledge to improve Dropbox's sales strategy.
- Manage and develop the sales enablement team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Communicate enablement strategies and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through enablement programs.
- Strong expertise in GTM strategies and sales analytics, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Excel and other sales enablement tools, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in managing budgets and making data-driven decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
Nice to Have
- Experience with sales enablement platforms and tools, such as Showpad or Bigtincan.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, such as Solution Selling or Challenger Sales.
- Certification in sales enablement, such as the Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP) designation.
