About the Role
The Director, Growth Marketing at Figma will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's paid marketing strategy across all digital channels, including paid search, social, display, affiliate programs, and beyond. What You Will Do
- Lead a team of media experts dedicated to optimizing Figma's presence across all digital marketing channels.
- Strategically identify opportunities to drive growth through paid marketing, diving deep into platforms and data to unlock growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Global Demand Generation team to support building campaigns that meet the needs of every region.
- Assess and build in-house talent where necessary and partner with media agencies as needed.
- Develop and manage global paid marketing campaigns that align with Figma's overall business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
- Analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in paid marketing, applying this knowledge to continuously optimize and improve Figma's marketing efforts.
- Manage and optimize a significant media budget, with clear visibility into payback period and ROI.
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience leading a paid/performance marketing function for a high-growth company.
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of direct reports.
- Experience in building global paid marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing a multi-million dollar media budget with clear visibility into payback period.
- Strong background in data analysis and performance marketing metrics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with paid search, social, display, and affiliate marketing channels.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Paid Search, YouTube, LinkedIn, and/or Display.
- In-house experience at a high-growth B2B or PLG (Product-Led Growth) SaaS company, where you have directly owned paid marketing strategy and budget.
- Experience in PLG organizations.
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
