About the Role
The Director, HR Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting the Global R&D functions at BeiGene, including the Global Regulatory Affairs organization. This position will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic guidance on talent development, organizational performance, engagement, and culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing mid-to-long-term HR and talent strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.As a key member of the HR team, the Director, HR Business Partner will work closely with business leaders to drive workforce planning, organization design, and development. This will involve proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives that enhance the overall performance of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the biotech industry and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement mid-to-long-term HR and talent strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
- Partner with business leaders to drive workforce planning, organization design, and development
- Lead the global annual performance review and year-end compensation planning and equity planning for designated client groups
- Proactively resolve complex business concerns, focusing on root cause analysis
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver strategic business insights and guide the development of programs that support the people strategy
- Lead the talent review process and ensure the succession of critical positions
- Drive initiatives in partnership with COEs to support a high-performance culture
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive that culture
- Engage on employee relations cases in partnership with the Legal and ER teams
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, HR teams, and employees
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of increasing HRBP responsibilities
- Vast experience in organization development, talent management, and building effective people management programs
- Proven ability to build, lead, and integrate effective and lasting people management programs within a business
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with business function heads, managers, and stakeholders
- Commitment to the company's values, with the ability to demonstrate those positively and proactively across the organization
- Ability to lead change efforts and manage in a fluid environment
- Demonstrated strong business acumen and experience
- Energetic, highly self-motivated, and able to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in dealing with ER issues
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the biotech industry
- Knowledge of regulatory affairs and compliance
- Certification in HR, such as SHRM or HRCI
- Experience with HR systems and tools, such as Workday or BambooHR
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and present complex data
