About the Role
The Director, National Accounts role at Sanofi is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the area of vaccine sales and marketing. As a key member of the Sanofi team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with high-value customers, including national health systems, to drive business growth and maximize vaccine sales. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the healthcare industry and have a strong background in sales, marketing, and B2B relationship-building.The role is remote, allowing the successful candidate to work from anywhere in the United States, and will require routine engagement with senior leadership from Sanofi Vaccines and assigned customers, as well as high-level coordination with Sanofi Vaccines headquarters, field sales management, and external partners. The Director, National Accounts will be expected to acquire and maintain expertise in brand and segment strategy and tactics, product knowledge, contracting and pricing platforms, and data transactions.

What You Will Do
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with high-value customers, including national health systems, to drive business growth and maximize vaccine sales
- Acquire and maintain expertise in brand and segment strategy and tactics, product knowledge, contracting and pricing platforms, and data transactions
- Negotiate high-level B2B strategies, contracts, and transactions with customers and external partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field sales management, marketing, and external partners, to achieve sales and marketing objectives
- Develop and implement sales plans and field sales direction to drive business growth
- Manage and maintain high-value C-Suite relationships with customers and external partners
- Establish and implement team-selling models with other Directors, National Accounts, and field sales representatives
- Maintain connection with preferred group purchasing organizations and indirect channel partners
- Contribute to and lead special projects based on market knowledge, market access, key customer responsibility, experience, and skill sets
- Utilize business analytics, customer knowledge, and observations to develop and support solution development, market strategy, and tactics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including new technologies and innovations in the healthcare industry
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or B2B relationship-building, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, including vaccine sales and marketing
- Proven track record of driving business growth through strategic partnerships and sales excellence
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work remotely and manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilize business analytics and data to drive decision-making
- Experience with contracting and pricing platforms, data transactions, and sales planning and execution
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or healthcare administration
