What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineering managers and software engineers.
- Develop and maintain a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and psychological safety within the engineering team.
- Structure engineering pods for maximum autonomy and alignment, ensuring clear career ladders and effective succession planning.
- Collaborate with Product Management leadership to ensure engineering teams are focused on customer outcomes.
- Oversee the architectural integrity, security, and performance of the company's ad tech infrastructure.
- Balance the delivery of new features with the continuous modernization of the codebase, optimizing infrastructure costs.
- Establish and monitor core engineering metrics to identify and eliminate development bottlenecks.
- Lead the strategic adoption of AI-augmented development tools to enhance development efficiency and code quality.
- Quantify the impact of modernization initiatives on cycle times, deployment frequency, and delivery velocity.
- Maintain robust data privacy, compliance, and security standards across all engineering operations.
- Foster a world-class remote engineering culture with high retention and clear alignment with business goals.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a fast-growing SaaS, Ad Tech, or high-data volume environment.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling highly aligned, culturally diverse, 100% remote engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with integrating AI into development processes.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Ability to make smart technical decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term strategy.
