About the Role
The Director of Growth Marketing at Docplanner is a pivotal role that involves leading the company's paid acquisition strategy, leveraging AI-native growthbuilding capabilities to drive business expansion. This role is at the forefront of the company's marketing efforts, requiring a deep understanding of digital marketing, remote work dynamics, and the ability to innovatively apply AI-driven solutions.Day-to-day, the Director of Growth Marketing will collaborate closely with various teams, including data science, product, and sales, to develop and refine growth strategies that align with the company's overall vision. The role entails a high level of autonomy, with the director being responsible for managing budgets, leading a team of growth marketers, and making strategic decisions that impact the company's growth trajectory.
Given the remote-friendly nature of this role, the ideal candidate will be adept at managing remote teams, possess excellent communication skills, and be highly self-motivated. The role reports to the VP of Marketing, offering a direct line of communication to the executive team and providing a platform for strategic input.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive paid acquisition strategies across multiple channels, including Google Ads, Meta, and emerging platforms.
- Lead and manage a team of growth marketers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure team members meet their potential and contribute to the team's objectives.
- Collaborate with the data science team to leverage AI and machine learning capabilities in improving campaign performance and predicting market trends.
- Manage and optimize multi-million dollar budgets to ensure ROI-positive campaign performance.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure marketing strategies align with product development and release timelines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners in the digital marketing ecosystem.
- Analyze campaign performance data to inform future marketing strategies and optimize spend.
- Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve campaign performance.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven track record of success in paid acquisition marketing, preferably in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including search, social, display, and video advertising.
- Experience with AI-driven marketing tools and platforms, and the ability to apply these technologies to drive growth.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing remote teams a plus.
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with front-end development.
- Certification in Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other relevant marketing platforms.
