About the Role
The Director of GTM System and Applied AI at Sproutsocial is a pivotal position that combines technical expertise with strategic vision and leadership acumen. The Director will be responsible for managing the non-Salesforce tech stack, driving the GTM AI roadmap, and establishing governance standards for AI workflows. What You Will Do
- Own the GTM Tech Stack: Manage the architecture, configuration, and governance of all non-Salesforce platforms.
- Drive Salesforce Strategy: Serve as the GTM business owner for CRM requirements and partner with IT to prioritize the RevOps backlog.
- Lead and Contribute to the GTM AI Roadmap & COE: Direct GTM AI Engineers and establish Center of Excellence standards for AI governance.
- Build & Prototype: Develop and launch AI workflows, automations, and integrations, including writing requirements and prototyping in agent frameworks.
- Govern Data Quality: Maintain system integrations, routing, and enrichment workflows to ensure clean, reliable data.
- Optimize & Consolidate Tooling: Run a structured system intake model and strategically consolidate redundant software.
- Champion Team Leadership: Lead, unblock, and develop a high-performing team of GTM AI Engineers, Business Analysts, and GTM Systems Admins.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with sales, customer experience, and IT teams to align systems and processes with business objectives.
- Develop and Manage Budgets: Oversee budgeting for the GTM systems function, ensuring alignment with business priorities and cost efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in GTM systems, sales operations, or revenue operations, with a mix of hands-on technical work and team leadership.
- Technical fluency in GTM systems, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Adjust, and Excel.
- Experience managing technical teams and developing high-performing engineers and analysts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge engineers on architecture and make sharp build/buy/integrate decisions.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, with a deep understanding of how GTM systems and AI can drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with AI workflows, automations, and integrations, including prototyping and launching new technologies.
- Strong data governance and quality control skills, with the ability to maintain and improve data integrity across systems.
