About the Role

The Director of Procurement at Kardion is a pivotal role that involves overseeing the company's procurement strategy, ensuring that all supplies and materials are sourced efficiently and effectively. This role is critical in supporting Kardion's mission to advance medical device technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement plans, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Day-to-day, the Director of Procurement will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand supply needs, identify areas for cost savings, and implement process improvements. What You Will Do

  • Analyze and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost savings and efficiency
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams to drive business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting procurement

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience in managing vendor relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, including sourcing, contract management, and supply chain management
  • Experience with procurement software and technology, such as ERP systems
