About the Role

The Director of Sales Development at INNERGY will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company's customer base. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales development strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales development teams, with a deep understanding of the sales development process and the ability to drive revenue growth.

The sales development team at INNERGY is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, working closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff and maximum conversion rates. As the Director of Sales Development, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing a team of sales development representatives, as well as managing the sales development process and ensuring that it is aligned with the company's overall sales strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute the sales development strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize results
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of sales development representatives, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure maximum performance
  • Manage the sales development process, ensuring that it is aligned with the company's overall sales strategy and maximizing conversion rates
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff and maximum conversion rates
  • Develop and manage the sales development budget, ensuring that it is aligned with the company's overall sales strategy and maximizing return on investment
  • Analyze sales development metrics and provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and messaging that resonates with the target audience
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales leadership, marketing, and product teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the sales development process

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in sales development, including at least 2 years of experience managing managers or running a multi-team function
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales development teams, with a deep understanding of the sales development process and the ability to drive revenue growth
  • Experience with sales development tools and technologies, including CRM, sales automation, and data analytics
  • Strong understanding of sales development metrics and analytics, including pipeline management, conversion rates, and sales velocity
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of sales development representatives
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex sales development challenges and develop creative solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and priorities
