About the Role
The Director of Strategy & Growth will play a crucial role in driving the growth of GE Vernova's Grid Automation business in North America. This senior leadership position will be responsible for developing and executing market growth strategies, leading a team of marketing and growth leaders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the energy sector, including renewable energy, transmission, distribution, and industrial markets.The role will involve working closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure strategic alignment and achieve business outcomes. The Director of Strategy & Growth will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and customer data to identify and guide strategies, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales and brand growth.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage a growing team of marketing and growth leaders to achieve business objectives
- Develop and execute market growth strategies for the North America Grid Automation organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and other departments
- Analyze market trends and customer data to identify and guide strategies
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales and brand growth
- Lead and promote solutions and services customer opportunities jointly with the sales organization
- Act as the liaison between the sales team and the product line
- Lead annual market assessments for the region
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth
- Collaborate with the Product Management team, Services, and R&D teams to provide input on roadmap and capabilities
- Work with sales teams to support customer engagement, pre-qualification, and technical discussions for new solutions and services
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Marketing and/or Product Management
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in applicable markets (distribution, transmission, industrial and renewables)
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic marketing initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
- Experience working in a team-oriented culture

- Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
