## About the Role The Director of Supply Chain at STR is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the company's procurement function. This role entails providing direction and oversight for all procurement activities, from planning to closeout, ensuring compliance with company policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). As a key member of the Contracts and Supply Chain team, the Director of Supply Chain will work closely with various stakeholders to drive process improvements and support the company's mission. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating agreements with suppliers, and managing a team of procurement professionals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence.
