About the Role

The Director of Total Rewards at SKIMS will play a pivotal role in leading the evolution of the company's people technology ecosystem and global total rewards programs. This position entails developing and executing the HRIS roadmap to support organizational growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate will serve as the primary owner and strategic leader for UKG and all HR technology platforms, ensuring data governance, system security, and compliance with applicable regulations.

As a key member of the People and Culture team, the Director of Total Rewards will partner closely with various stakeholders, including Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders, to drive system enhancements, reporting capabilities, workforce analytics, and benefits administration. This role requires a deep understanding of HRIS, benefits, and payroll, as well as the ability to leverage technology to create efficient, scalable, and employee-centric experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS, with expertise in UKG, HR data integrity, reporting, automation, compliance, and process optimization. They will be responsible for leading the design, administration, and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs, managing annual open enrollment processes, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and international benefits regulations.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute the HRIS roadmap to support organizational growth and operational excellence
  • Lead system configuration, optimization, upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality
  • Evaluate and recommend new HR technology solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience
  • Ensure data governance, system security, user access controls, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to maintain system performance and integrations
  • Configure workflows, business processes, security roles, dashboards, and reporting structures in UKG
  • Manage system enhancements, releases, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Lead integration efforts between UKG and third-party platforms
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Establish scalable reporting frameworks and workforce analytics capabilities
  • Deliver actionable insights related to headcount, turnover, retention, compensation, recruiting, and workforce planning

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in HRIS, benefits, and payroll, with a strong background in UKG
  • Expertise in HR data integrity, reporting, automation, compliance, and process optimization
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and projects
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to leverage technology to create efficient, scalable, and employee-centric experiences
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Experience with benefits administration, payroll, and workforce analytics

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other HR technology platforms, such as ATS, learning, and performance management systems
  • Certification in HRIS, benefits, or payroll, such as SHRM-CP or CEBS
  • Experience working in a global organization, with knowledge of international benefits regulations
