Job Description

About the Role

The Director of Wellness Transitions and Compliance is a critical leadership role at Vitality Living, responsible for overseeing health and wellness efforts for one of the area's best senior living communities. This role serves as a project lead for wellness transitions for newly acquired communities, ensuring a seamless transition and compliance with state regulations. The Director will work closely with community team members, providing training and support to ensure that medical, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs are being met.

As a key member of the transitions team, the Director will analyze current community practices, set expectations to comply with state regulations, and complete transition items within established timelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

The Director will report to senior leadership and work closely with regional support teams to ensure that all communities are meeting the highest standards of care.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a clinical representative on the transitions team to support the onboarding of new communities
  • Coordinate all phases of the wellness transition with community team members
  • Complete analysis of current community practices, set expectations to comply with state regulations, and complete transition items within established timelines
  • Quickly establish relationships with newly onboarding community teams
  • Train newly onboarded community teams on Vitality wellness standards
  • Track and coordinate training for new wellness team members, including completing on-boarding checklists and conducting follow-up calls for support as needed
  • Maintain, track, and assist with updating company policies
  • Track and trend regulatory citations by state and provide analysis to wellness and operations teams
  • Analyze key wellness KPIs and update wellness team on trends identified
  • Provide supporting information, interpretations, clarifications, and advice to regional and senior leadership to assist in making informed data-driven decisions
  • Complete focused compliance and standards visits for communities with an identified need

What We Are Looking For

  • Valid RN license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Effective training abilities, excellent leadership and people skills
  • Dedication to teamwork and long-term commitment to success
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to travel up to 75%
