About the Role

The Director of Paid Social is a key role at DEPT, responsible for developing and executing paid social strategies that drive business results. This role entails managing a team of paid social specialists, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platforms. As a leader in the paid social space, you will be responsible for driving campaign results, optimizing budgets, and ensuring that all paid social efforts are aligned with the company's overall marketing goals.

From Facebook and Instagram to TikTok and Snapchat, the Director of Paid Social must be able to navigate the complex world of social media and develop strategies that drive real results. As a key member of the marketing team, the Director of Paid Social will work closely with other department leaders to ensure that all marketing efforts are aligned and working towards common goals.   • Develop and manage paid social budgets, ensuring that all campaigns are optimized for maximum ROI
  • Analyze campaign results, using data and insights to inform future paid social strategies
  • Identify and capitalize on new paid social opportunities, including emerging platforms and trends
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key social media partners, including Facebook and Instagram
  • Stay ahead of the competition, leveraging paid social to drive business results and stay ahead of the curve

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in paid social, with a proven track record of driving business results
  • Strong understanding of the latest social media trends and platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat
  • Experience managing paid social budgets, with a focus on optimizing for maximum ROI
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze campaign results and inform future paid social strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of paid social specialists
  • Experience with paid social platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager and Twitter Ads
  • Strong understanding of the paid social landscape, including the latest trends, platforms, and technologies

  • Experience with emerging social media platforms, including TikTok and Snapchat
  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing and its role in paid social
  • Experience with paid social automation tools, including Hootsuite and Sprout Social
