About the Role
The Director of Pricing and Packaging at Gainsight is a strategic leadership role that entails driving company-wide strategy and operational excellence. This position is responsible for owning planning cycles, tracking performance, and executing high-priority cross-functional initiatives in partnership with executive leadership. As a key member of the Corporate Services team, the Director will work closely with the VP of Strategy and Business Operations to drive business growth and customer success.The role requires a strong understanding of customer success strategies, pricing, and packaging, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and operational execution, with a proven track record of driving business results.

What You Will Do
- Own and continuously improve the company's core operating cadence, including quarterly business reviews and annual planning processes
- Drive high-priority, cross-functional strategic initiatives on behalf of the CEO
- Coordinate the annual planning process end-to-end, translating strategic priorities into resource and investment decisions
- Build and maintain the data layer that supports executive decision-making, including performance dashboards and KPI tracking
- Serve as a shared strategic resource to Business Unit GMs and functional leaders, supporting cross-functional coordination and ensuring executive visibility
- Provide analytical and project management support on M&A or strategic partnership evaluations as needed
- Develop and maintain executive-level materials, including board decks, investor presentations, and key executive reports
- Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business operations, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, economics, or finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and visualization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, as well as Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Strong understanding of customer success strategies and pricing and packaging principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability

- Experience in private equity, venture capital, or management consulting
- Knowledge of AI-driven customer success platforms and technologies
- Certification in strategic planning, business operations, or a related field
