About the Role

The Director, Procurement will play a critical role in leading AI Fire's procurement and supply chain efforts. This role is essential for the company's continued growth and success, particularly as it navigates a complex landscape of acquisitions and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement or supply chain leadership, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and category management.

Day-to-day, the Director, Procurement will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall goals. This includes managing and scaling the procurement function to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding organization. The role will also involve leading ERP/Source-to-Pay transformations and ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted with the highest level of integrity and adherence to company policies.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the implementation of ERP/Source-to-Pay systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on achieving best-in-class pricing and terms.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers, assessing performance and identifying areas for improvement.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain leadership, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and category management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and technologies, including ERP/Source-to-Pay systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in managing and scaling procurement teams, with a focus on talent development and performance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and cost savings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management, including the development of contracts and agreements.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends, with a continuous learning mindset.
