About the Role
The Director of Product Management at Consilio LLC is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic thinking. As a key member of the product development team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring products to market. Your expertise will help drive the company's growth and expansion in the tech industry, leveraging Consilio LLC's proprietary software applications to meet the evolving needs of external clients and internal stakeholders.The role is based in the United States and offers the flexibility of remote work, providing an opportunity to work with a global team and contribute to the company's mission from anywhere. You will report to the Senior Director of AI Product Management, working collaboratively to drive product development and innovation.
What You Will Do
- Own the product vision and roadmap for assigned software products, aligning with business goals and market needs
- Define and evolve the product roadmap across multiple applications, facilitating strategy conversations and ensuring the product development process is aligned with organizational priorities
- Harvest and curate external client inputs and internal stakeholder inputs, synthesizing these into discrete, prioritized requirement stories
- Act as the voice of the customer, turning various inputs into coherent product requirements and product positioning strategies
- Manage the prioritized backlog of requests, ideas, and defects, conditioning each into articulated tickets for Engineering and QA
- Define business cases, scope, market requirements, and acceptance criteria/success metrics for releases within the stated scope
- Serve as Product Owner through agile software development processes, partnering with UX design, development, data operations, architecture, QA, and IT Project Management to execute against organizational priorities
- Create rapid prototype apps with AI to demonstrate front-end design and user workflows
- Support cross-functional operations team readiness, including training and certification, as new products and releases are brought to market
- Become a company expert on external buyers and user personas, including how they buy and use the products, buying criteria, and market forces
- Evaluate 3rd party software providers' technology and product messaging, conducting and benchmarking technical and positioning competitive analysis
- Communicate learnings across the organization and generate original, authored content for external clients and internal stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years of progressive experience as a product manager
- Strong technical background, with experience in Python, React, Github, and agentic frameworks preferred
- Experience with SaaS, AI/Machine Learning, information governance, or electronic discovery (eDiscovery) spaces
- Proven track record of working in an agile software development environment in a Product Owner role, with knowledge of agile processes and frameworks (preferably Scrum)
- Depth of knowledge in software development lifecycle, with the ability to demonstrate effectiveness at writing business requirements
- Outstanding references, with a preference for experience working in global operations and selling organizations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up style environment, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation
Nice to Have
- Experience with competitive analysis and market research, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with UX design principles and human-centered design methodologies
- Knowledge of data operations, architecture, and IT project management, with experience working with cross-functional teams to drive product development
