About the Role
The Director of Product Management for Shopping and Offers at Affirm is a pivotal role that requires strategic leadership and a consumer-first mindset. As the leader of this team, you will define the next chapter of Affirm's direct-to-consumer shopping and offers experience, overseeing a portfolio of high-impact consumer journeys that directly influence conversion, engagement, and revenue. This is an opportunity to work on a fast-growing platform that combines the agility of a startup with the scale of an industry leader.The role involves managing a team of product managers, establishing clear roadmaps, and driving cross-functional alignment to optimize the marketplace ecosystem. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Revenue leaders to balance merchant value with consumer experiences, ensuring a simple and consistent experience across platforms.
What You Will Do
- Define and socialize a long-term vision and strategy for the Shopping and Offers program
- Translate the vision into clear roadmaps and decisions that teams can execute against
- Manage and scale a portfolio of consumer-facing surfaces, including Home, Search, and Profile/Settings
- Lead and grow a high-performing team of product managers, setting the bar for craft and creating development paths
- Proactively align senior leadership on strategy, execution risks, and mitigation plans
- Drive cross-functional alignment at scale to optimize the marketplace ecosystem
- Establish frameworks for rigorous experimentation and funnel analysis to drive measurable gains
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key product initiatives
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of product management leadership experience, with a proven track record of shipping large-scale consumer products in fintech, e-commerce, or marketplace environments
- Demonstrated ability to bring strategic clarity and turn ambiguous problems into crisp narratives and structured execution plans
- Familiarity with AI-native product development, including agentic patterns and LLM-powered discovery experiences
- Exceptional analytical rigor, with the ability to use data to guide prioritization and quantify the impact of product features
- Experience operating through layers of leadership, delegating ownership effectively, and scaling decision-making across diverse product lines
- A consumer-first mindset with a high bar for design polish and a commitment to delivering honest financial products
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams
