About the Role
The Director of Product Marketing at Klaviyo is a critical leadership role that drives the core positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the company's Klaviyo Marketing solution line. As a key member of the product marketing team, you will be responsible for establishing a strong POV and voice that cuts through the noise in the marketing automation software landscape. You will lead a team of product marketers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the marketing automation landscape, as well as experience in developing and executing GTM strategies that drive growth and adoption. You will be responsible for driving category leadership across Klaviyo's full omnichannel suite, including its newest frontier: AI agents that do the work of marketing for B2C brands.

What You Will Do
- Lead a team of product marketers responsible for crafting differentiated, unified positioning and messaging for Klaviyo Marketing
- Partner with Product Managers to shape the product roadmap and ensure that customer needs are met
- Launch new, innovative features and products into market that cut through the noise in the marketing automation landscape
- Establish Klaviyo as the definitive thought leader in B2C marketing by developing a strong POV on what it means for AI to handle the work of marketing
- Build core sales and marketing assets, including pitch decks, one-pagers, enablement trainings, and more
- Support Sales teams in strategic deals that require deep product expertise and a strong understanding of B2C customer needs and use cases
- Collaborate with the GTM PMM team to tailor messaging and create sales plays for various target audience segments
- Develop and execute GTM strategies that drive growth and adoption of Klaviyo's solutions
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges
What We Are Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing roles, ideally with a stint marketing to Marketing buyers
- 3+ years of experience directly managing and coaching individual contributors, building the next generation of great product marketers
- Strong understanding of the marketing automation landscape and experience in developing and executing GTM strategies
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with product management, sales, and customer success
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and coach high-performing teams
- Experience in developing and executing product positioning and messaging that drives growth and adoption
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity
Nice to Have
- Experience in marketing automation software, particularly in the B2C space
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in marketing automation
- Experience in developing and executing sales plays and enablement trainings for sales teams
- Strong understanding of customer needs and use cases, particularly in the B2C space
