What You Will Do

  • Lead, mentor, and scale the North American Solution Engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric problem solving.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive customer acquisition, expansion, and retention, ensuring the Solution Engineering team is aligned with sales goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of customer engagements, including solution design, implementation strategies, and technical validation, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and align with Twilio Segment’s capabilities.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor and advocate for customers within Twilio Segment, understanding customer needs and market trends to influence product development and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience and drive product enhancements.
  • Maintain deep technical and product knowledge of the Twilio Segment platform and the broader technology landscape, encouraging continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Develop and execute technical strategies to drive customer success and revenue growth.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
  • Strong technical background with experience in software development, data platforms, and cloud technologies, familiarity with Twilio Segment’s technology stack is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, with a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Experience in driving customer success and revenue growth through technical strategy and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of the technology landscape and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience with cloud-based technologies.
