About the Role

The Director of Publications Strategy will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic US Medical Affairs publication plan for asundexian, ensuring timely presentation of data and robust strategic planning. This position requires a deep understanding of scientific data, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally. As a key member of the US Medical Affairs team, the Director will collaborate with various stakeholders, including global publications leads, medical directors, and external investigators.

The role entails developing and executing publication plans, reviewing and editing congress abstracts, and ensuring compliance with Good Publication Practices and Bayer's Publication Policy. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute the strategic US Medical Affairs publication plan for asundexian
  • Review and interpret product data from preclinical, clinical development, statistics, and health economics departments
  • Liaise with global publications leads and communicate global publications initiatives to US product teams
  • Review and edit congress abstracts, primary and secondary manuscripts, and slide presentations
  • Host internal and external US-specific publication-related team meetings
  • Ensure compliance with Good Publication Practices and Bayer's Publication Policy
  • Establish professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including global clinical investigators and thought leaders
  • Manage the US publications budget and forecast publications spend for business planning
  • Support the development and implementation of publication plans for asundexian

What We Are Looking For

  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MSc, or equivalent) in a scientific discipline
  • Proven ability to interpret scientific and clinical trial data and derive scientific themes
  • Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience in developing and executing publication plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various stakeholders
