About the Role

The Regional Sales Director will play a critical role in driving new business development for Compass Group USA in the NYC market. This individual contributor role will focus on identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborating with the Regional Vice President to achieve KPIs. As a key member of the sales team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a territory strategy, maintaining a robust pipeline, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

As a sales leader in the foodservice industry, you'll be working with a wide range of clients, from small startups to large corporations, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Your expertise in the coffee and office refreshment industry will be essential in building trust and credibility with potential clients. You'll be working closely with the Regional Vice President to develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory strategy to drive new business development and revenue growth
  • Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities with key decision-makers in the NYC market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive retention and upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to achieve KPIs and drive business growth
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Conduct sales calls, product demos, and presentations to prospective clients
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the coffee and office refreshment industry, including trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Compass Group USA's products and services, including markets, office coffee and snacks, unattended retail, and culinary solutions

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the foodservice industry, with a focus on coffee and office refreshment services
  • Proven track record of driving new business development and revenue growth in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of the coffee and office refreshment industry, including trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
  • Experience with CRM software, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as needed

  • Knowledge of sales automation tools, such as HubSpot or Salesforce
