About the Role

As a Director, Strategic Accounts at Twilio, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives focused on revenue growth and cross-selling Twilio's new products to existing named accounts across North America. You will be customer-focused, metrics-driven, and passionate about helping your team succeed. With 8+ years of technical solutions selling experience and 4+ years of experience managing a team of account managers or strategic account executives, you will be well-equipped to drive results and make a significant impact.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6-8 Strategic Account Executives to drive revenue growth and cross-selling initiatives
  • Build and progress pipeline, working across functions to execute complex deals
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with team members, providing tactical and strategic deal guidance, motivation, and career development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data for your team and provide reliable weekly forecast information to upper management
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive revenue growth and expand Twilio's presence in the Regulated Verticals Healthcare sector
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to drive alignment and achieve business objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth
  • Provide input and feedback on sales strategies, processes, and tools, contributing to the continuous improvement of the sales organization

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of technical solutions selling experience, with 4+ years of experience managing a team of account managers or strategic account executives
  • A leader who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of success
  • Customer-focused, metrics-driven, and passionate about helping your team succeed
  • Experience building high-performing sales teams, managing forecasting, and supporting fiscal planning and revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the Regulated Verticals Healthcare sector and the ability to drive revenue growth and cross-selling initiatives
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Contact Centers, Messaging, Call Tracking, and other communication solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge of sales enablement tools, such as sales analytics and performance management software
  • Certification in sales leadership or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment
